Makarfi General Hospital in Kaduna State has reopened to patients after a programme of renovation, upgrading and re-equipping that Thane delivered between October 2025 and February 2026.
Five months from start to reopening
The works covered the hospital's buildings, services and equipment. Renovation and upgrading of the wards and supporting spaces ran alongside the procurement and installation of new equipment, so the hospital could reopen fully equipped at the end of a single programme.
One contractor for building and equipment
Combining construction and equipment supply under one contract meant one programme, one point of responsibility and one handover for the client.
